Today I´m going to a photoshoot with Sven Seeberg at Proteinfabrikken in Sandefjord, so hopefully I can update the gallery soon with some more pictures. I got a little chock this morning when I entered the bathroom scale. 55,7 kg!! I haven´t been down on this weight since the competiton at luciapokalen in 2002 (55,1 kg) when I was competing i bodybuilding!! (-57 kg).

For the moment I´m feeling rather engergetic, (belive it or not) apart from that it feels like my mind isn´t keepin´ up with the rest. Or like Tor Martinsson said: “When you sit on the toilet in the dark, because you haven´t turned on the light, and don´t understand what´s wrong because you can´t see anything-then you know you´re goin´ in the right direction.” Sometimes I feel like that, yes!

To get a little bit more intensity these last weeks before my competitions, I´ve got a new exercise program as well. Take a look at this-especially the shoulder exercise!! ;)

Day 1

Chest, shoulders, triceps

inclined flyes with dumbells + press (superset) 3 x 12 

cable cross 3 x 15

front raise

side lateral

l-side lateral

upright rowing

shoulder press 

………………………

superset with 12-15 reps on each exercise and no rest between.  3 set

………………………

french press + triceps benchpress 3 x 12-15

push downs 2 x 12-15

Day 2

legs and calves

squats in the smith machine 5 x 15 with 15 sek rest between sets

leg extension 2 x 15 strip x 3 (drop set)

hamstring curls 2 x 15 strip x 3

seated calf raises 2 x 15 strip x 3

Day 3

Back and biceps

lateral pushdowns

front pulldowns

pulldowns with converted grip

superset with 12-15 reps and no rest between. 3 set

bicepscurl  3 x 15-20

This program is trained 2-1-1-1.

2 days with day 1 and 2, 1 day rest, 1 day with day 3, one day rest and so on….

Leg day today! I can´t wait!! :)

My new dietprogram:

Two days with 60 g carbs, 180 g proteins and 30 g fat, and then one day with 120 g carbs, 120 g proteins and 30 g from fat.

No sweetner (there goes my pepsi max… ) no nutritional supplements what so ever, but vitamins and minerals and Udo´s choice. Just plain food-and that became a rather large amound of food. Cod, eggwhites and vegetables are on the meny today-yammie…

My weight was stagnated on 57.5 kilos, (for about three weeks) and I was holding a lot of extra water. But when I started this new program, it immediately went down to 56.5 kilos, (this morning) and I got a much tighter look.

Some thoughts

These last three weeks have been nothing but stress, stress and a little bit more stress. I have been away to Toril at SEFA (www.sefa.no) to get my new competition suits done. Toril is so fantastic when it comes to chose pattern and colours to fit you perfectly! It is a real pleasure to take the trip to Sarpsborg to meet her, and everybody who works at the SEFA center! I´m really looking forward to se the results of what she suggested this time.

Last sunday I went in to Oslo and got some help and valuable tips from Tanja Bårdsen (www.fitnesstanja.com) about my posing performance! Posing is something you never can get enough of, even if you have done it a million times before, there is always something new to learn!

Take care-and don´t forget to train hard!!

Anyway, this is how my days look like for the next two weeks!

Breakfast: 40 g oatmeal and 45 g whey tech (proteinfabrikken)

Meal one: 30 g brown rice, 80 g tuna in water, 10 g udo´s choice, vegetables..

Meal two: same as meal one

Meal tree: same as meal one and two

After exercise: 40 g cell max (proteinfabrikken), 45 g whey tech (proteinfabrikken)

Evening: 180 g eggwhites

Things that irritates me right now…

  • People who don´t keep their promises!!
  • When people can´t give you a straight answer… (How hard can it be to tell you ”yes” or “no”???) 
  • When people looks at you and says-”you can´t loose more weight now-you will look sick if you do”. (And then they tell you that Kate Moss is the most fantastic lookin´ woman in the whole world???)
  • Prejudices about bodybuilding/fitness-especially when the local newspaper calls a guy bodybuilder only because he visits the local gym once or twice a week??
  • Everyone who thinks it is so damn easy to get in shape for a competition!!
